TRAINING, WORKSHOPS AND MEETING

In trainings, we are reaching out to varied stakeholders like Panchayati Raj representatives, members of Self Help Groups and so on. However ADITHI is an organization which can reach upto a certain point. But our aim is not that – we want to go beyond. Therefore the trainings will initiate the stakeholders’ need to be empowered and become self-reliant. Only then can they have a noticeable impact in the advocacy process. The trainings will help them to move on and with time sustain their own organizations.

ADITHI is running a Regional Training and Resource Development Centre, funded by PFI, covering 38 districts of Bihar, wherein it’s team provides training to upcoming or small resources yet established NGOs and public sector undertakings on –

ü      RCH

ü      Gender, wherein status of women in Bihar is an integral part of the trainings – recently the team provided training to lawyers in coordination with Aman Trust and with UNESCO-IGNOU is going to provide training in ‘Traditional Crafts and Gender’ to it’s members.

ü      The facilitators trained 1000 girls on gender, which was supported by the American Center.

It is noteworthy that RTRDC trainers team (consisting of the SPMC and others) have received Advanced Gender Training For Training of Trainers at Jagori.

ADITHI has provided training to 100 NGOs of Bihar (Chief Functionaries and Health Workers) through the RCH programme and it’s Regional Training and Resource Development Centre, wherein nearly 150 participants have been trained.

The CINI Institute, Bhubaneswar is a resource center for all mother NGOs based in Patna and the other districts. Monthly meetings of these are held, and the Patna-based ones attend regularly.
