Adithi
has developed 568 SHGs in Motipur, Marwan and Kanti block of
Muzaffarpur under SwaShakti project funded by World Bank through
Women Development Corporation. The savings of the groups are more
than Rs.7,00,000/- and groups are engaged in agriculture, in
different food processing and manufacturing and vending the local
products.

Seventy-five percent
of the beneficiaries of our microfinance programme stated that their
lives had improved since receiving microcredit loans, and that their
households incomes had increased which enabled them to meet their
families’ needs and even to save money.
