Sanitation
& Hygiene
Keeping
in mind, the absence of lavatories in the villages for defecation,
74 latrines were constructed under the ADITHI-Plan project for
better sanitation and hygiene. The construction of these latrines
has led to a sense of ownership, improved social security, better
sanitation and hygiene, reduction in the number of cases like
accidents and snake bites and reduction in the cases of violence
against women.
