Overview
The importance of analyzing gender roles and taking gender into account when implementing development activities has long been the ‘one’ hallmark of our work, and this has continued through the new millennium.

 Achievements in our Gender Work

      We were active in increasing women’s participation in the decision-making processes at community and district levels in Bihar. The delicate, long-term gender approach resulted in women receiving skills and literacy training, developing activities to help them generate an income and making use of women development centers.

      100% of our micro-finance beneficiaries were women.  

      One of our major achievements was to enable women who had previously earned their living through prostitution to get alternative means of income.

      Gender based training resource team is a big asset for ADITHI.
